ABA Cyberspace Law Committee Program on Spam

At the Annual Meeting of the ABA, the Working Group on Malware in the Cyberspace Law Committee presented a program entitled Technological Controls on Spam and Their Legal Implications. The program included a wealth of information on Spam. The program materials are available here [ABA ID Required]. The slides for the presentation are publicly available here.

The portion of the program by Hank Judy included an overview of the practical implications for lawyers of Spam, along with good suggestions for addressing the impact of Spam on your clients. We relied upon these ideas in creating our presentation.

The portion of the materials by Elizabeth Bowles of Aristotle.net, Inc., provided a wonderful background on Spam and some statistics on its impact on the Internet and business.

Our thanks to Elizabeth and Hank for some of the background and ideas for our presentation.
